Typical of Azilal carpets is a low pile height and colourful geometric designs on a natural wool base. This rug features blue, pink and soft yellow shapes on an off-white background. Azilal rugs are similar to Beni Ouarain but usually more colourful. Azilal is in the High Atlas Mountains, which are warmer than the Middle Atlas.
